In January 2001, under the guidance of Andy Telfer, Oliver Page was tasked with establishing a new Spirit of Adventure camp in the Magaliesburg, and he began tailoring and designing programs and activities to meet the specific needs and objectives of each group that visited. Oliver had joined Spirit of Adventure in 1998 as an Instructor after working as a professional firefighter and paramedic in Durban. During his time with Spirit of Adventure in Durban, Oliver advanced to Senior Instructor and Chief Instructor before he moved to the North-West. After successfully starting the Magaliesburg camp and building it up to its present position over the next 5 years, Oliver was able to make it his own in 2005, when Andy decided to move on to new challenges.
Oliver is ably assisted by his wife Lenti and an enthusiastic team of permanent staff members and Leadership Year students.
